The company began initially in 1997 with the intention of offering consulting services as a part time endeavor. The President, Maritza Soto, was a full time professor but also found that human resources consultants focused on large multinationals and none were focused on small and medium sized businesses. She then envisioned a company that could offer these services for this market that had lesser resources but the same needs.
To provide company decision makers with high quality, practical and useable and affordable Human Resources solutions to manage and their workforce to accomplish the company's business goals. Maritza Soto, PhD/JD
Dr. Maritza Soto is the President of OCG Human Resources and Management Consultants since 1997. She holds vast experience in the manufacturing, sales and service industries working for companies such as Amgen Inc, Baxter Healthcare and Wang Computers, Inc. She is a bar certified lawyer in the Puerto Rico and Federal courts as well as Professor of the University of Puerto Rico teaching management and human resources courses and was Director of the International Business Education Center of the same institution.
She holds various professional certifications in her field, such as Senior Certified Professional (SCP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), Certified On-line Instructor (COI) and a certification in Family Business Advising. She has given numerous conferences and seminars in Puerto Rico and abroad and has won various awards in her areas of expertise.
She is also President of the Puerto Rico Chapter of Organization of Women in International Trade, an international organization that fosters international business for men and women.

Dalia Morales Otero

A human resources specialist that has worked with various small businesses in the development and implementation of the human resources practices and policies. A graduate from the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Campus with a mejor in office management and human resources.
Ms. Torres also works with event planning with certain customers that have requested these services in the past. Ms. Torres is currently finalizing a professional certification in Executive Coaching.
